Prime Minister Receives CEO of Global Banking Group HSBC

- Discussed ways to enhance cooperation in financial, banking, and investment sectors

His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, received today George Al-Hadary, Chief Executive Officer of the global banking group HSBC, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the financial, banking, and investment sectors, and reviewed available opportunities to expand the partnership between the two sides, contributing to supporting economic development and strengthening Kuwait’s position as a regional and international financial and commercial hub.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, and Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Diwan.
