The Arabian Peninsula is the primary source of Arab identity and the cradle of its glories. It was on this land that Arab identity took shape, and from which the great religion of Islam emerged to illuminate humanity with truth, justice, and peace. This land was never merely a geographical entity; it is the homeland of noble Arab values, which the Kingdom today embodies in their most splendid forms—generosity, courage, chivalry, nobility, and adherence to authentic Arab customs and traditions passed down through generations, now an inseparable part of the Saudi and Arab character.
The Kingdom derives its unique spiritual prestige from its deep place in the hearts of Muslims and its sacred responsibility to care for the Two Holy Mosques. It hosts the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Kaaba, the unified Qibla toward which the hearts of more than two billion Muslims worldwide turn, erasing racial and linguistic differences within its sanctuaries. This resolve was clearly demonstrated in confronting the treacherous terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the holy city of Mecca, civilian and economic facilities at Riyadh Airport, and the Aramco facilities in Jeddah and Jazan, as well as Abha Airport. These crimes drew widespread international condemnation, underscoring the severity of any threat to the Kingdom’s security and global energy stability.
