The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that they carried out 744 targeting operations against military sites and objectives belonging to the Houthi militias over the past 24 hours, as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen.” These operations resulted in neutralizing approximately 200 of their fighters.
Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the operations also led to the destruction and damage of 90 military vehicles and equipment belonging to the militias.
He clarified that the operations were conducted using warplanes, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units, targeting command and control centers, firing positions, fortified sites, areas where reserves and reinforcements were amassed, and supply routes.
He added that Yemeni Armed Forces units continued their operations in Taiz Governorate, alongside military pressure on the eastern, southern, and western fronts, to restrict the movement of Houthi reserves and prevent them from gaining ground.
Al-Nazili affirmed that missions would continue in accordance with the operational plan, with targeting limited to legitimate military objectives and necessary precautions taken to protect civilians and civilian property.
