French President Departs After Official Visit

French President Emmanuel Macron and his official delegation departed the country this afternoon, following an official visit during which he held formal talks with His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, was among those who saw him off at the airport.

Also present to bid him farewell were His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, Prime Minister; His Highness Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Hamad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs; Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali, Minister of Defense; Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and senior state officials.
