The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior (represented by the Security Directorate of Al-Mubarakiya Governorate), the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the Public Authority for Manpower, conducted an inspection campaign in the Sabah Al-Salem area. The operation was supervised by the emergency teams of the Ahmadi and Al-Mubarakiya governorates, to verify compliance with the laws and regulations that protect consumers’ rights, combat commercial fraud, ensure adherence to advertised prices, and guarantee clear labeling regarding food safety, while raising quality and service standards. These efforts contribute to enhancing market stability and strengthening oversight and supervision.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of 48 violation reports for various infractions, with all prescribed legal measures taken against the violators, through coordination among the competent authorities.
