Your Excellency, may God preserve you.

On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency and to the friendly American people my sincerest wishes and most heartfelt hopes, praying to the Almighty for Your Excellency’s continued progress and prosperity, good health and well-being, and further achievements for the benefit of your country and your friendly people.

Your Excellency, what prompts me to send this modest message to Your Excellency on this joyous occasion is the situation our region, the Middle East, is experiencing, marked by developments of great concern to its sons and citizens, including provocations and aggressions that are entirely regional, whether from Iran, Israel, or various other parties.

Your Excellency, may God preserve you, since assuming office, you have been navigating the fires of wars around the world, in the East and the West, regarding this as your primary mission during your presidential term.

Your Excellency, allow me to go back in time to when European countries, such as Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Portugal, Spain, and Britain, began enslaving and subjugating peoples (under the pretext of civilizing and developing them). One of the manifestations of this was the importation of slaves from Africa to perform arduous labor without any regulations.

Then, Your Excellency, European countries began to develop by introducing theoretical ideologies such as democracy, socialism, communism, and nationalism. This led to the discovery of new continents and the mass killing of millions of their own citizens, starting with the peoples of North and South America, where millions of indigenous inhabitants (Native Americans) were killed, despite the civilizations they possessed. The same occurred in Australia and New Zealand.

In any case, Your Excellency, this introduction neither adds to nor detracts from the important subject I wish to address with Your Excellency, which is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Following World War II, and as the power and influence of some colonial powers declined, the United States of America advanced to confront the communist tide, which began to cover most of Asia, including China, the major part of Eastern European countries, parts of South America, the Near and Middle East, and North African countries.

Your Excellency, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the only country that bravely, courageously, and honestly stepped forward to stand with the United States of America in confronting this communist tide. History records the events that took place in Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Libya, and southern Arabia.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the one that opened its doors to American military bases. However, today, unfortunately, the Kingdom stands alone in facing the continuous tide. In my belief and conviction, and with the help of Almighty God, the friendly Kingdom will overcome these crises and aggressions with firmness and strength.

Finally, Your Excellency, allow me to conclude my message by expressing the same appreciation and respect for Your Excellency, and the same love and esteem for the friendly American people, and by wishing prosperity and success for the Republic of the United States, and glory and honor for the friendly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its wise leadership, with continued progress and prosperity, by the grace of Almighty God.
