Registration is conducted via the "Dal" electronic platform from today, October 18, until Thursday, October 22, 2026, with the aim of qualifying national cadres for the teaching profession according to school needs for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The Ministry clarified that the total number of required positions is 1,020 teachers (male and female) who are Kuwaitis, across scientific, literary, and artistic specialties. These include Mathematics, Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geology, French, Philosophy, Chinese and Spanish languages, Law, commercial and industrial specialties, electricity, electronics, computer science, and music education, according to the qualifications and numbers specified for each specialty.

It emphasized that the program targets citizens holding university degrees who are not graduates of the Faculties of Education and Basic Education. This initiative is part of efforts to develop the teacher preparation system and link the recruitment of educational cadres to the actual needs of schools.

The Ministry stated that registration is open to citizens, whether they are registered with the Civil Service Bureau as job seekers or not, provided they meet the approved criteria. It stressed that submitting an application does not imply final acceptance, as the selection of applicants is subject to established conditions and the Ministry’s needs.

Eligibility Conditions

The Ministry specified the application conditions as follows: the applicant must be a Kuwaiti national, not exceed 35 years of age at the time of application, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the required specialties. Applicants must also submit a "No Criminal Record" certificate issued by the Ministry of Interior, a drug test certificate, and pass the prescribed medical examination.

Training Year

The Ministry explained that the program lasts for one training year, combining 45% theoretical preparation with 55% practical training. This aims to equip participants with the necessary pedagogical and professional skills for teaching through training in real educational environments under supervision and evaluation.

It added that passing the program requires achieving a success rate of no less than 75% according to approved evaluation standards, to ensure the readiness of participants to practice the teaching profession.

Employment Not Guaranteed

The Ministry stressed the importance of applicants reviewing all program conditions and obligations before registering. It clarified that individuals currently holding a position must submit their resignation from their current workplace if accepted into the program, in accordance with approved procedures.

It confirmed that joining the program does not guarantee employment, and the Ministry is not obligated to appoint or place those who do not successfully complete it.

The Ministry invited interested individuals to submit their applications via the "Dal" platform during the specified period, ensuring accurate data entry, submission of required documents, and regular monitoring of the platform to track application updates and admission procedures.

The Ministry affirmed that the program represents one of its initiatives to develop teacher preparation through professional qualification and linking training opportunities with the needs of the educational field, thereby enhancing the participation of national talents in developing the educational process and improving the quality of its outcomes.
