The Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation is participating in the fifth edition of the "My Job 2026" exhibition, which launched today, Thursday, at "The Arena – Grand Hyatt Kuwait," and will run until October 17. The event aims to attract young national talents and introduce them to available opportunities for developing their skills in technical fields, in alignment with labor market requirements.
The exhibition is held under the patronage and opening of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Manpower. It is expected to see participation from more than 120 companies representing 14 vital sectors, with attendance exceeding 40,000 young men and women, facilitating direct interaction between job seekers and private sector institutions.
The Center’s Executive Director, Saud Al-Anzi, stated that the participation aligns with the Center’s efforts to empower Kuwaiti youth, discover promising talents, and provide them with opportunities to acquire the necessary skills and experience to enter the labor market efficiently.
Al-Anzi emphasized that investing in young talents and equipping them with technical skills is a fundamental pillar for building the future economy. He stressed the importance of linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, amid rapid developments in artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity.
He noted the Center’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with specialized institutions to implement training programs that contribute to preparing a generation capable of innovation and participating in the development of the digital economy.
For his part, the Center’s Technical Director, Adbi Al-Mutairi, affirmed the Center’s interest in attracting young talents eager to learn and develop in technical fields. He explained that qualifying talents is not limited to developing technical skills, but also includes enhancing their problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and capacity to transform ideas into practical solutions.
Al-Mutairi added that the training programs offered by the Center enable participants to gain practical experience and familiarize themselves with the stages of technology project development, helping them discover their potential and define their career paths.
The Center’s participation in the exhibition extends its training initiatives in collaboration with youth organizations, including "Loyak" last August, and "Achievement Kuwait," with which the Center recently concluded an intensive five-week training program involving 12 trainees. The initiative aims to expand practical training opportunities and prepare youth for labor market requirements.
