Saudi Civil Defense announced today that the threat has passed in the province of Khamis Mushait, urging the public to continue following instructions, avoid gatherings and photography entirely, and call the emergency number (998) in case of emergencies.
Earlier, Saudi Civil Defense had issued an alert through the National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations in Khamis Mushait to warn of the danger.
Via its official account on the social media platform X, Saudi Civil Defense called for adherence to safety guidelines and official instructions, maintaining calm, and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room away from windows, staying there until the threat subsides. It advised against leaving homes or buildings, avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops.
