The General Fire Force carried out an inspection campaign in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaliya and Al-Awadh agricultural areas, resulting in the administrative closure of eight facilities and the issuance of notices and warnings to 90 others for failing to meet fire safety and prevention requirements.
In a press statement on Thursday, the General Fire Force said its specialized teams conducted the campaign to identify buildings and facilities that violate fire safety and prevention regulations and to verify their compliance with applicable laws and bylaws.
It added that the campaign targeted a number of facilities and commercial establishments, leading to the administrative closure of eight facilities and the issuance of notices and warnings against 90 others for not meeting the standards approved by the Force.
