The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Sudden death is a relief for the believer, and a cause of regret for the disbeliever.” It is a relief for the believing human being, especially for one who never forgets that he must inevitably meet his Creator. For the disbeliever, however, it is a death of anger and punishment, due to lack of repentance and insistence on disbelief, and we seek refuge in Allah. …
