Saudi Civil Defense announced today the activation of an early warning system in the Eastern Region to alert the public of a potential threat, urging adherence to safety guidelines and official instructions.
In a statement, Civil Defense called for maintaining calm and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room, away from windows, and remaining there until the threat has passed. It advised against leaving homes or buildings, avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops.
The agency also urged people to call the emergency number (998) if they observe any danger and to follow instructions issued by competent authorities through official channels.
