Bahraini Minister of Information: Kuwait enjoys a leading media and cultural position in the Gulf

- Discussed with Ambassador Al-Najim ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise

Bahraini Minister of Information Dr. Ruzan Al-Naemi praised today, Sunday, the leading media and cultural status of the State of Kuwait and its prominent contributions to media and cultural production and enriching the Gulf landscape.

This came during a meeting between Minister Al-Naemi and the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, where he emphasized the depth of the fraternal and historical relations uniting the two brotherly countries, rooted in family and social ties, under the patronage and attention of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his brother, the Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and guard them.

Al-Naemi stressed the importance of enhancing media and cultural cooperation between the two countries and exchanging expertise and experiences, which contributes to developing media and cultural work and serves common interests.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing to strengthen bilateral and fraternal relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, particularly media and cultural ones, emphasizing the importance of expanding the horizons of cooperation and joint coordination to enhance bilateral relations and bring benefits and advantages to both countries and their brotherly peoples.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral media and cultural cooperation, the importance of enhancing media coordination among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and continuing joint efforts to elevate Gulf media.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, were Counselor Yousif Al-Banwan and Second Secretary Lujain Abu Aliyan.
