Higher Education Minister Forms Disciplinary Council for Faculty Members at 'Applied Science'

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Dr. Nader Al-Jarallah, issued Ministerial Decision No. (160) of 2026 regarding the formation of a disciplinary council for the faculty members of the Authority’s colleges for the academic year 2026/2027.

The decision stipulated the formation of the council, chaired by Dr. Hana Thunyan Yousef Al-Majid, Professor at the College of Health Sciences, and comprising Dr. Waleed Hashim Sayed Yaqoub Al-Rifai, Assistant Professor at the College of Technological Studies; Dr. Dalal Anwar Saleh Al-Sharhan, Assistant Professor at the College of Basic Education; Dr. Abdullah Yaqoub Yousef Al-Fahid, Assistant Professor at the College of Basic Education; and Dr. Fawaz Mohammed Ahmed Al-Awadi, Assistant Professor in the Law Department at the College of Commercial Studies.

The decision further stipulated that the disciplinary council shall exercise the authorities and duties assigned to it under Decision No. (2493) of 2024 and its amendments concerning the administrative accountability regulations for the teaching and training staff of the Authority. Its meetings shall be held during or outside official working hours, for a period of one academic year.

It was also stipulated that the competent authorities shall, each within its respective jurisdiction, implement the decision and act accordingly.
