National Guard Organizes Arabic Language Course for Delegations from Turkey and Italy

The National Guard, represented by its Training Directorate, inaugurated a course in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, organized by the Computer and Languages Center for delegations from Turkey and Italy. The event was attended by the National Guard’s Deputy Commander, Major General Hamad Al-Burjisi, and Assistant Dean for Planning, Consultations, and Training at the College of Arts, Kuwait University, Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasimi.

The course comes within the framework of the National Guard’s commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and activating cooperation agreements with sister and friendly countries.

The Deputy Commander conveyed greetings and appreciation from the National Guard’s leadership to the attendees, emphasizing that the course embodies the Guard’s approach to investing in human resources, developing linguistic skills and competencies, and enhancing communication, understanding, and the exchange of expertise and knowledge, thereby achieving the objectives of joint cooperation.

He noted that the course reflects the important role played by the Computer and Languages Center in delivering specialized training programs in accordance with the latest educational methodologies, and in transforming cooperation agreements into high-quality programs and practical initiatives that contribute to capacity building and the establishment of effective institutional partnerships.

For his part, Commander of Operations and Training, Major General Saleh Ghunaim, stressed in a speech delivered during the inauguration the importance of the course in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, pointing out that proficiency in the language helps strengthen bridges of communication and understanding among different cultures and enhances the spirit of cooperation and joint work, in implementation of the cooperation protocol signed with Kuwait University.
