The Nation, Then the Nation, Then the Citizen

The government is not asked for more than to follow up on what its citizens write in local newspapers. This is a request we repeat often, as it contains observations that serve the interest of the country and its people. It is the easiest task for the government to implement, given that it has employees at no additional cost to avoid criticism, address its shortcomings, and pay attention to some neglected areas such as agriculture, municipal affairs, and public works. It should also protect its citizens from stray dogs (may God grant you honor), which we have been calling to combat for years, without any resolution from either the municipality or the agriculture department, both of which are responsible for the issue.

Then "the inevitable happened," after those dogs attacked and killed a citizen, may God have mercy on him. Glory be to God.

Political News

The solution that the government failed to find in previous years was found within a day of the incident. This is a common habit of governments, past and present: they do not find a solution until a disaster strikes (may God protect us from them), far from applying the principle that "prevention is better than cure."

Restraint

Do not cut the rope with your children, because a promise is a covenant, especially when it comes from the Kuwaiti government, which is always committed to international and Arab decisions and treaties externally. How can it break its promise and jeopardize the future of its citizens domestically?

As for the arbitrary transfer of teachers, even though the government has the right to make the decision it deems appropriate, I criticize it for rushing its decisions without considering the potential backlash.

When we criticize the government, it is because we are part of it and it is part of us. This is merely an effort that may succeed or fail. Ultimately, we all seek the best and the benefit for all parties.

Therefore, I suggest that the government restore matters to their proper course while we are at the beginning of the academic year, allowing the Ministry sufficient time to study the transfers while taking into account the circumstances of some families, such as their housing and their children's schools.

Changing Customs

There must be a reason, or reasons, that changed some people's customs and tastes. What could they be, I wonder?

Do we find the answer among psychiatrists, or are the causes linked to the development of social media platforms that led to openness to the world, with its diverse societies and differing customs and traditions? This has caused the moral level among people to decline, as well as the artistic level in singing, theater, and cinema, which has become aimless and devoid of substance, focusing only on material gain. Meanwhile, the number of viewers and listeners has increased, which unfortunately indicates a decline in public taste.

"Honor remains, and companionship is a matter of compatibility.

Blessed is he who is empty of noble souls.

If I were chosen among all creations,

I would choose you, O people of pure intentions."

O God, protect Kuwait, its people, and its leaders from all evil and harm.
