He concluded his speech by extending thanks to the State of Kuwait, expressing his appreciation for the cooperation characterizing bilateral relations, and emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance these distinguished ties and broaden their horizons.
Al-Kharinj: Entrenched Brotherhood
For his part, Major General Pilot Fahad Al-Kharinj, Commander of the Kuwait Air Force, delivered a speech on behalf of the Kuwaiti side, conveying his sincerest congratulations to the Arab Republic of Egypt, its leadership, government, and people, on the anniversary of the October 6 victories, describing it as “the immortal day in the history of Egypt and the Arab nation.” He affirmed that “Kuwaiti-Egyptian relations are not a product of today, but are rooted in enduring brotherhood, shared stances, and a history rich with cooperation and solidarity, and will remain a model of relations that unite Arab peoples, based on solidarity, loyalty, and mutual support.”
Major General Al-Kharinj pointed out that “military cooperation between the two countries represents one of the important aspects of these relations,” highlighting the “Yarmouk” exercise as one of the most prominent joint air exercises, which carries a historical significance that extends beyond military training to evoke the pages of heroism and sacrifices made by the Kuwaiti “Yarmouk” Brigade and its martyrs alongside their brothers in the Egyptian Armed Forces during the October War.
