The Gulf Football Association, in cooperation with the local organizing committee, announced the start of ticket sales for the Gulf Cup Under-17 “Qatar 2026,” hosted in Doha from October 16 to November 4, with the participation of 10 national teams.
In a statement, the Association clarified that tickets are available at a price of 15 Qatari riyals (approximately $4) via the website “roadtoqatar.qa,” under a single category with free seating. It noted that all tickets are digital and can be obtained and used through the “Road to Qatar” app.
Gulf Football Association Secretary-General Jassem Al-Rumaihi said the tournament represents an important platform for emerging football talents in the region to showcase their potential as they prepare for upcoming international commitments.
Al-Rumaihi expressed his pleasure at the participation of Egypt and China as guest teams this year, noting that their involvement provides an opportunity for participating teams to compete against strong and diverse football schools. He looked forward to fan attendance in Qatar to support the stars of the future.
Qatar hosts the tournament for the second consecutive year, following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, which featured a record number of 10 participating teams: Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, Yemen, along with Egypt and China.
The draw, held last September, placed Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and China in Group 1, while Group 2 included defending champions Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, and Egypt.
The tournament will feature 23 matches across three stadiums: Grand Hamad Stadium, Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium, and Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. All venues are equipped with facilities for fans with disabilities, who can purchase tickets via email at accessibility.tickets@sc.qa.
Competitions begin on October 16 with a match between Qatar and China at Grand Hamad Stadium, which has a capacity of 13,000 spectators and will also host the final on November 4.
The same stadium hosted several matches during the 2025 edition, including the final in which the Saudi team was crowned champions.
