Yemeni Armed Forces: 1,729 Targeting Operations Carried Out Against Houthi Militia

Neutralizing 1,370 of its fighters and destroying or damaging 300 military vehicles and equipment as part of the “Yemen Dawn” operation

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Thursday that they carried out 1,729 precise strike operations against military targets belonging to the Houthi militias across various axes and fronts, resulting in the neutralization of 1,370 militia fighters and the destruction or damage of 300 military vehicles, means, equipment, and supplies.

In a statement, Brigadier General Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said that the strike operations targeted observation posts, advanced command and control centers, weapons depots, supply and reinforcement points, and military positions belonging to the militias.

Al-Nazili added that the operations were carried out as part of the ongoing “Yemen Dawn” operation, using modern specialized weapons.

On October 4, Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi announced the commencement of military operations to reclaim the remaining territories of the Republic and extend state authority over the entire national territory, after diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the conflict had been exhausted. On October 5, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the launch of the “Yemen Dawn” operation to restore state institutions, liberate the capital Sanaa, and end the Houthi militias’ coup.
