The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Traffic Regulation Department within the Security Control Directorate, apprehended the driver of a “half-truck” transport vehicle, a Bangladeshi national, after he discarded waste on the road in the Jabriya area, causing the street to become dirty. This action followed a complaint lodged against him.

In a statement, the Directorate said that traffic officers, after conducting investigations and inquiries, managed to apprehend the driver. It was found that he was operating a motorized transport vehicle with a driver’s license that did not authorize him to drive such a vehicle.

The Directorate added that traffic violations were issued against him, including littering in a manner that dirties the road and driving a motorized vehicle with an invalid license. He was also transferred to the Traffic Police Station for preventive detention, pending the implementation of deportation procedures, and the vehicle was impounded in accordance with standard protocols.
