Security Campaign in Al-Dhahr Detains Dozens of Violators and Wanted Individuals, Issues 79 Traffic Violations
The Directorate of Security for Al-Ahmadi Governorate, represented by the Operations and Patrols Department and the governorate’s leadership, carried out a security and traffic campaign in the Dahr area, under the instructions of Brigadier General Haqqawi Abdulaziz Bandar Al-Omar, Head of the Sector for Directorates of Security Affairs, and under the direct supervision of Brigadier General Omar Yousef Al-Kandari, Director General of the Al-Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate, and Brigadier General Abdullah Fahad Al-Sanahid, Assistant Director of Security.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the campaign, conducted on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, resulted in the issuance of 79 traffic violation tickets, the apprehension of 17 individuals violating labor laws, 12 individuals whose residency permits had expired, 25 individuals unable to provide identification, 13 wanted individuals for arrest, and 4 individuals in abnormal conditions.

The ministry added that the campaign also led to the apprehension of 5 individuals wanted by the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, 3 individuals subject to civil arrest warrants, 1 criminal wanted individual, 1 individual violating entry permit conditions, and 1 individual wanted for commitment to a psychiatric hospital.
The campaign’s results also included the seizure of 3 drug-related cases, 1 individual in possession of alcoholic beverages, 1 street vendor, 2 vehicles wanted by the judiciary, and the impounding of 3 vehicles for traffic law violations.
The ministry confirmed that all apprehended individuals and seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them.
