Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported that Minister Al-Muwaidaa emphasized, during his reception of Ambassador Al-Najim in Manama, the deep-rooted historical fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, which continue to witness continuous development and growth in various fields, under the patronage and attention afforded by the leaderships of both brotherly countries.

The agency added that Minister Al-Muwaidaa welcomed Ambassador Al-Najim, wishing him continued success and achievement in his diplomatic duties and in building upon the bilateral successes already attained, thereby contributing to strengthening cooperation and coordination pathways between the two countries.

Arab and international condemnations continued on Thursday regarding the Houthi attacks that targeted Abha and King Khalid International Airports in Saudi Arabia, resulting in casualties, injuries, and material damage. These condemnations were accompanied by reaffirmations of solidarity with the Kingdom, rejection of the targeting of civilian infrastructure, and calls to cease attacks and respect international law.
British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan Stephen Doughty stated that his country strongly condemns the attacks targeting Abha and the infrastructure of King Khalid International Airport, affirming the United Kingdom’s support for Saudi Arabia in confronting Houthi attacks, and expressing condolences to the victims’ families and wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs expressed its condemnation of the attacks targeting the two airports in recent days, reaffirming its full solidarity with the leadership, government, and people of the Kingdom, and rejecting the targeting of civilian infrastructure.
For its part, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the attacks pose a threat to the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and the region, calling for an end to the attacks and respect for international law, state sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
It clarified that it is monitoring the situation of injured Egyptians resulting from the attacks and directed its embassy in Riyadh to continue coordination with relevant Saudi authorities.
Jordan condemned the attacks, considering them a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and the UN Charter.
Spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fuad Majali, affirmed his country’s support for the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents, expressing condolences to the families of victims from Moroccan, Algerian, and Sudanese nationalities.
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its country’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for its measures to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, calling on the international community to take a firm stance to halt the attacks, protect civilians, and ensure the safety of air navigation.
In a similar context, the Arab League condemned the continuation of Houthi attacks on the Kingdom, warning against the danger of targeting civil aviation facilities and endangering the lives of travelers and workers.
The Arab League affirmed that these attacks constitute a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and the rules of international law, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Arab national security, and calling for an immediate halt to the attacks and the avoidance of further escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
