A Space for Time
This is how we have always dealt with our relatives and guests, for they are kin and friends, with no barrier or intermediary separating us from them. We maintain ties with them, and they with us, in both our joys and sorrows, exchanging the same feelings.
This has been our way of life since the era documented by our ancestors and forefathers. Indeed, for a long time, we have made mutual pledges: we have protected them, and they have protected us; we have shared with them, and they have shared with us. To affirm all this, we have intermarried with them through love and loyalty, to this land and to the bond that has manifested in us and in them, making us one Kuwaiti family—rulers and citizens—through our solidarity, compassion, and good conduct.
Kuwait of humanity will remain so, forever.
This is the truth that binds us to our benevolent rulers. Every circumstance has proven this close relationship, and each day brings new instances that confirm the steadfastness of our dealings with our rulers and wise leadership. Among them are ministers, governors, officials, and even leaders, whether young or old. They are among those who have learned how to interact with us, as they are an extension of this history and this approach of instilling values and principles, and of dealing with the people and citizens with humility, respect, appreciation, and sound judgment in overcoming all obstacles we face.
Thus, experience and events have taught us. From here, we say that Kuwait of humanity will remain the bridge connecting us to our noble rulers. Many citizens and colleagues have preceded me in praising the conduct of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior regarding several issues and humanitarian stances.
From this point, I record my appreciation and respect for him and for his handling of one of these urgent matters with humanitarian circumstances, which reached me and, by the grace of God Almighty, I conveyed to His Excellency through the bridges of humanity. His Excellency embodied, through his kind and sincere humanitarian stances, firmness in resolving such matters.
Here, with a clear conscience and sincerity, I convey to His Excellency and to the bridges of human communication, who facilitated the path of goodness through their stance, sincere verses of gratitude, praise, and appreciation for His Excellency, may God protect him. May He preserve him to continue the path of giving and humanity, which he has been inclined toward since his appointment to this trust and this position of wise leadership, and for this high office under the leadership and government of firmness and a new covenant. May God protect Kuwait, fortify it with the bond of humanity, and clothe it with honor, pride, and distinction... And God is the one sought for help, and all praise and thanks are due to God, the Great.
