The Saudi Cabinet affirmed today, Tuesday, the Kingdom’s full support for the Presidential Leadership Council, the legitimate government, and the Yemeni people in ending the coup and restoring the state and its institutions from the terrorist Houthi militia, which has chosen military escalation as an alternative approach to peace.
This came during a Cabinet session held in Riyadh, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency citing Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari.
The Council stressed that the Houthi militia continues to deepen the humanitarian and economic suffering in Yemen and threatens regional security, as well as navigation in the southern Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The Council also appreciated the outcomes of the emergency meeting of the Political and Defense Strategic Committee of the Mecca Defense Alliance, which included reaffirmation of the solidarity of the three countries and their standing as one front in confronting attacks on the Kingdom, which targeted Mecca, Medina, and civilian and economic installations.
The Council further welcomed the agreement to activate collective deterrence and move immediately to the practical implementation of mutual defense commitments, thereby enhancing readiness, military integration, and the capacity to counter such threats.
