The fifth round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic took place today, Tuesday, in the Czech capital, Prague. The Kuwaiti side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, while the Czech side was chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Maria Chatarova.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the consultations addressed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.
It was clarified that the consultations featured a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding between the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute of Kuwait and the Czech Diplomatic Academy regarding cooperation in the field of diplomatic training and capacity building. The document was signed on behalf of the Kuwaiti side by Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, and on behalf of the Czech side by Dana Kovarzikova, Director General of the Diplomatic Academy under the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
