Fire Aboard French Nuclear Aircraft Carrier 'Charles de Gaulle'

A fire broke out aboard the French nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle while it was docked at the Toulon naval base in southern France, where it was undergoing a technical stop.

The French Navy said in a statement that the carrier’s crew immediately intervened to extinguish the fire, with support from the base’s firefighting teams.

It confirmed that the fire was put out without any reported injuries or material damage.
