El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast position supporting the preservation of the unity and sovereignty of sister Arab states and the integrity of their territories, and rejecting any infringement upon their national institutions.
He stressed that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions remains the sole guarantee for achieving just and lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
In this regard, he affirmed Egypt’s complete rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land, emphasizing the necessity for the full implementation of US President Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan in the Gaza Strip, and warning against circumventing or ignoring its execution.
He added, “I remind everyone that Egypt and Israel fought wars that spanned decades before the courage of the political leadership, guided by their vision at the time and supported by US mediation, opened the door to peace and the end of hostility between the two countries. This confirms that peace is not an impossible dream, but a realistic choice capable of ending conflicts and achieving peaceful coexistence among peoples.”
Regarding the Nile River, the Egyptian President stressed that “the Nile is the lifeline of Egypt and the foundation of its existence for thousands of years,” affirming that Egypt’s water share is “a firm historical and legal right that cannot be diminished or infringed upon.” He confirmed that Egypt, as it has always done, extends a hand of cooperation and joint development with its brothers in the Nile Basin countries, while at the same time refusing to allow any measure that threatens its water security, and that it will continue to defend these rights by all means guaranteed by international law.
El-Sisi said, “On this glorious day in our nation’s history, Egyptians wrote a brilliant page in the annals of national glory, when the Egyptian will rose to affirm to the entire world that Egypt does not compromise on its land, and that great peoples always possess the ability to turn defeat into victory and move toward a brighter future.”
He added that “the great October victory was the fruit of years of diligent work and meticulous preparation, underpinned by a firm belief that victory belongs to those who seize the means of strength and fulfill their duties with sincerity, detachment, and dedication.”
He continued, “Today, we live in a region plagued by crises and turmoil, and in a world witnessing rapid transformations and unprecedented challenges that have swept through countries, destroyed the stability of homelands, and displaced millions of innocents.”
In this context, he affirmed that challenges remain, and that plots targeting the stability of Egypt via the Nile have not ceased. He stressed that the Egyptian state is strong through its institutions, cohesive through the will of its people, and capable of protecting its national security, safeguarding its resources, and maintaining its stability.
