The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nizahat) organized a field training program for law students at Kuwait University for the fourth consecutive year, covering the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. The program, which runs until December next year, aims to enhance legal awareness among young people and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
In a press release, Nizahat stated that the program includes a series of specialized lectures delivered by experts from various organizational units within the Authority, with the goal of introducing students to Nizahat’s mandates and its role in preventing and combating corruption.
It added that the program covers several topics, including the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the mechanism for reviewing its implementation, an overview of corruption crimes, investigations, evidence collection, and related procedures, the conditions for filing reports and how to prepare complaint memoranda, monitoring corruption crimes, and protecting whistleblowers.
The program also covers the financial disclosure system and the law on the right to access information, alongside strategic planning, the professional code of conduct, and corporate governance.
