Coalition: 100 fighter jets participate in 'Yemen Dawn' operation, securing airspace protection for Bab al-Mandab
Al-Maliki: Destruction of 324 high-value targets... and round-the-clock air support for Yemeni forces
The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced on Monday that 100 coalition fighter jets participated in the “Fajr al-Yemen” (Yemen Dawn) operation, coinciding with the launch of wide-scale military operations to regain control of the remaining territories in the country held by Houthi militias.
Al-Maliki stated that coalition fighter jets destroyed 324 high-value targets at the outset of the operation, noting that the coalition “provides air protection for the Bab al-Mandab Strait.”
He added that the coalition “provides air support to back the Yemeni armed forces on the ground around the clock,” affirming that “engagement with moving targets is ongoing.”
