In a statement, the Association said that Lieutenant General (Retired) Faisal Al-Jazzaf, President of the Kuwait Retired Officers Association; Lieutenant General (Retired) Bader Al-Ghadhouri, Head of the Community Security, Research, and Studies Committee; and Lieutenant General (Retired) Dr. Hussein Al-Ajmi, Head of the Legal Committee, represented the Association at the meeting. The statement clarified that the discussions focused on frameworks for joint cooperation and reviewed the expertise, programs, and initiatives that UNIDO could provide, aiming to enhance the capacities and experience of retirees, open new avenues for utilizing their expertise, and strengthen opportunities for collaboration and partnership between the Association and the organization.
Discussions also emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing communication and coordination to explore practical, implementable projects and initiatives that serve the Association’s objectives and harness the national competencies and expertise of retired officers, thereby adding value to society and the state.
This aligns with Article 2, Clause 4 of the Kuwait Retired Officers Association’s statutes, which stipulates the goal of ensuring a dignified life for association members and their families by providing comprehensive health, sports, social, and economic services.
The Association also aims to raise public awareness of its objectives and the efforts it undertakes to foster societal consciousness and humanitarian sentiment toward its members and war veterans, while collaborating with all Arab and international bodies to develop services provided to retirees.
