On Sunday, Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, conferred the rank of second lieutenant on an officer, in accordance with the Emir’s decree appointing him as an officer in the Kuwaiti Army.
In a press statement, the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces said that Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan emphasized that this appointment entails additional responsibilities and duties, wishing him success and guidance in performing his tasks and obligations, and encouraging him to continue his contributions with a spirit of responsibility and loyalty, serving the nation with full competence and capability.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Mubarak Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
