Hoelund Celebrates in Ronaldo's Style... What Happened Between Him and Portugal's Coach?

Rasmus Højlund stole the spotlight during Denmark’s match against Portugal, after scoring his national team’s second goal in the 53rd minute, before celebrating in the style of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo by performing his famous “Siuuu” celebration.

The attention did not stop at Højlund’s celebration, as moments after the final whistle, a scene unfolded between the Danish striker and Portugal’s coach, Jorge Jesus, during the post-match handshake.

Video footage showed Højlund placing his hand on Jesus’s chest and giving him a light push, a moment that sparked questions among fans, while the footage alone did not reveal the reason behind the player’s behavior.

This incident comes after Cristiano Ronaldo left the Portuguese national team’s camp in Denmark, following Jesus’s announcement that the Portuguese star would not start against Denmark, having remained on the bench without playing in the previous match against Norway.

The match between Denmark and Portugal ended with a 4-2 victory for Portugal.
