Umm Nuqra... The Golden Zone
Am Naqa Farms, located in the southern part of the Al-Abdali agricultural zone, in the far north of Kuwait—particularly in plots 5 and 6—are teeming with hundreds of thriving farms. Despite this, they lack a fuel station, service shops, restaurants, and a seasonal market for selling fresh Al-Abdali vegetables, unlike the Al-Qash’aniya farms to the north of the Al-Abdali agricultural zone, which are approximately 25 kilometers away.
For the record, Am Naqa Farms, originally named “The Golden Zone” when they were first established over two decades ago, are currently the closest to the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Bridge route via the scenic Al-Subiya road. However, this long route lacks a recent branch of the Al-Abdali Agricultural Association and car service facilities.
Compared to the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah route, which connects the capital, Kuwait City, and Al-Jahra to the Al-Qash’aniya farms north of Al-Abdali, the Am Naqa route (south of Al-Abdali) sees traffic going back and forth without a fuel station, branches of the Al-Abdali Agricultural Association, car service shops, mosques, or even mobile vendors selling light refreshments and drinking water—especially during winter and spring—to serve the main users of this primary route, including many farmers and travelers daily.

I would like to thank the relevant authorities, particularly the Ministry of Public Works, for completing the repair of the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah route (Al-Mutlaa–Al-Abdali) after resurfacing and maintenance, making it safer for vehicles and passengers day and night...
And long live Kuwait.
