Arab Interior Ministers Council condemns Houthi militia attack on facility serving the Prophet's Mosque

The Council of Arab Interior Ministers strongly condemned, on Thursday, the Houthi militias’ attack on Saudi territory.
In a statement, the Council’s General Secretariat expressed its strong condemnation of news that the terrorist Houthi militia had attacked a civilian facility providing electrical services to the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

The Secretariat expressed its firm condemnation and absolute denunciation of this cowardly terrorist attack, which constitutes a blatant provocation of Muslim sentiments and a flagrant violation of the sanctity of holy sites, further confirming the militia’s continued aggressive behavior and criminal pattern of deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
It reaffirmed the Council of Arab Interior Ministers’ complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for the measures the Kingdom is taking to protect Islamic holy sites, as well as to safeguard its resources, security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
