'Interior Ministry': Suspect Arrested in Ahmadi with Large Quantity of Drugs and Psychoactive Substances

- The seized items included 4.5 kilograms of hashish and marijuana, and 2,800 capsules and tablets of Larica and Methadone.

The General Administration for Combating Narcotics arrested a suspect in the Ahmadi area, in possession of quantities of narcotics and psychoactive substances with intent to traffic and consume.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the operation resulted in the seizure of 2.5 kilograms of hashish, 2 kilograms of marijuana, 200 grams of shabu, 2,500 capsules of Larica, 300 tablets of Methadone, as well as a quantity of A4 paper sheets soaked with chemical substances.

It added that two sensitive scales and a quantity of empty bags for retail and sale were also seized.

The ministry noted that the suspect and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against him.
