In a statement, Al-Budaiwi said that this nefarious Houthi attack has crossed all red lines, constituting a blatant provocation of Muslim sentiments worldwide and a serious escalation in violating the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. It reveals an aggressive approach that disregards religious and humanitarian values, as well as international laws and norms, particularly given the repeated attempts to target the Two Holy Mosques and their surrounding areas.

He affirmed the GCC states’ unwavering and firm support for Saudi Arabia, expressing their full solidarity with the Kingdom in confronting any threats to its security, stability, sovereignty, and holy sites, and backing all measures taken to protect its territory, citizens, residents, and guests of God.
