Najda Police apprehend 274 wanted individuals and residency violators, refer 24 suspects to Anti-Narcotics

- 1,789 security operations were carried out and 99 traffic incidents were handled during the week.

The General Directorate of Emergency Police continued its intensive security and traffic efforts across various governorates, as part of field deployment plans aimed at enhancing road security and safety, from September 20 to 26, 2026.

In a statement, the Directorate said that these efforts resulted in the execution of 1,789 security operations, the detection of 948 various traffic violations, the apprehension of 185 individuals wanted by relevant authorities, 89 individuals whose residency permits had expired, and 42 individuals unable to provide official identification.

It added that 13 wanted vehicles were seized, 24 suspects were referred to the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, and 15 violating vehicles were impounded, with necessary legal measures taken against the violators.

The Directorate clarified that field efforts included handling 99 traffic incidents, completing 343 accident reports, and providing 711 humanitarian assistance to citizens and residents at various locations.

The General Directorate of Emergency Police emphasized the continuous 24/7 deployment of its patrols and rapid response to reports and emergencies, contributing to enhanced road security and safety and the protection of road users.
