Lebanese Army: Soldier and three civilians injured in Israeli strike in the south

The Lebanese Army announced on Wednesday that a soldier and three other civilians were injured in an Israeli strike in the south of the country.

In a statement, the Lebanese Army command said that a soldier was “seriously wounded as a result of an Israeli attack on an army vehicle,” adding that three civilians were also injured in the area of Al-Nabtiya Al-Fawqa.

The Lebanese National News Agency had earlier reported that three army personnel were injured in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli occupation drone, which targeted them at a military checkpoint in the town of Al-Nabtiya Al-Fawqa.
