The Ministry of Interior has urged citizens and residents to stay away from stray dogs and keep a safe distance when encountering them, while clearly noting their location and contacting the emergency number (112).

The Ministry emphasized the necessity for pet owners and animal custodians to comply with the legal regulations governing the possession and care of animals, ensuring the safety of everyone.

It stressed that when it becomes impossible to continue caring for animals, abandoning them or leaving them in public places is prohibited, and called on individuals to contact the emergency number (112) to coordinate with the relevant authorities for their handling or pickup.
