Ambassador Al-Najim Presents Credentials to the King of Bahrain

- Conveyed greetings from the Amir and the Crown Prince, emphasizing the commitment to strengthening and developing relations between the two countries

Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, presented his credentials to Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Tuesday, officially assuming his role as Kuwait’s Ambassador to the Kingdom.

In a statement received by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Kuwaiti Embassy in Manama said that Ambassador Jasem Al-Najim conveyed greetings from Kuwait’s Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, along with their best wishes for the King’s continued health and well-being, and for the fraternal Kingdom of Bahrain and its people to achieve further progress and prosperity.

Ambassador Al-Najim expressed Kuwait’s pride in the close ties linking it with the Kingdom of Bahrain across all fields, reaffirming his commitment to working to strengthen and develop these relations during his tenure.

For his part, the King of Bahrain welcomed Ambassador Al-Najim, praising the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, and their continuous growth at various levels.

He expressed his best wishes for the Ambassador’s success in his diplomatic duties, which would further enhance the close ties of cooperation and friendship with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The credential presentation ceremony was attended by the King of Bahrain’s Personal Representative, the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, the National Security Advisor, the Minister of the Royal Court, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Head of Royal Protocol.

Also present from the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain were Brigadier General Muassad Al-Khayat, Head of the Military Liaison Office; Counselor Yousef Al-Banwan; and Counselor Abdulaziz Al-Falah.

Earlier in the day, Ambassador Al-Najim had submitted a copy of his credentials to Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Zayani.
