'Public Works' Inspects Turkish Experience in Designing and Implementing Reform Institutions

At the behest of Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Mohammed Al-Mashaan, Ms. Duaa Al-Dahi, Director of the General Administration of Construction and Major Projects, conducted a field visit to several correctional institutions in the Republic of Turkey, as part of an official mission alongside a delegation from the Ministry of the Interior, led by Undersecretary Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab.

The Ministry of Public Works stated in a press release that the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, Mohammed Al-Shaboub, accompanied the delegation during the visit, which aimed to inspect correctional facilities and infrastructure and to learn about the practices employed in their design, implementation, and equipping.

The ministry clarified that the visit sought to benefit from relevant expertise and best practices in major construction projects, thereby contributing to the support and development of related government projects in the State of Kuwait.

The visit included field tours to inspect facilities, equipment, and operational systems, as well as the exchange of expertise and technical information with the relevant authorities in the Republic of Turkey.
