Ambassador Al-Amiri: Kuwait committed to dialogue, peaceful solutions, and multilateral action

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mohammed Al-Amiri, stressed today, Monday, the importance of respecting the sovereignty of states and prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy in addressing crises and resolving conflicts.

This came during Ambassador Al-Amiri’s participation in the international forum “Diplomacy for Peace for a Sustainable Future,” held in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, coinciding with the UN General Assembly’s adoption of the International Decade for the Promotion of a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World, 2027–2036.

In a speech at the forum, Ambassador Al-Amiri said that developments and events in the region this year underscore the importance of intensifying international efforts to prevent escalation and protect the security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of states.

He reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to a policy of dialogue, peaceful solutions, and multilateral action in confronting regional and international challenges, based on the conviction that diplomacy and dialogue represent the best means of resolving differences and enhancing security and stability.

The forum was attended by Azamsho Sharifi, First Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, along with a number of senior government officials, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Dushanbe, and a select group of professors and researchers specializing in diplomacy and international relations.
