Kuwait’s Minister of Education, Sayyid Jalal al-Tabataba’i, held talks today, Sunday, with a Finnish delegation on ways to foster joint cooperation in educational fields and to benefit from Finnish expertise and experiences in developing education.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Education said the meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest in the educational sector, alongside exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides, thereby supporting the development of educational practices and leveraging international experiences in relevant areas.
The statement emphasized the importance of expanding international cooperation in the education sector, in line with global developments and contributing to advancing educational development and achieving its desired objectives.
The Finnish delegation included Jarno Siriala, Deputy Undersecretary for International Trade at the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Juha Mustonen, Finnish Ambassador to Qatar and non-resident Ambassador to Kuwait; Jarkko Skantzi, Acting Director of the “Education in Finland” program at the Finnish National Agency for Education; and Sara Stenroos, Deputy Head of Mission at the Finnish Embassy in Doha.
