Civil Status Public Authority Offers Residence Status Amendment Service for Those Covered by Article 7 Bis via 'Sahel'

The Public Authority for Civil Information launched a new service today, Sunday, through the unified government mobile application for electronic services, “Sahel,” enabling eligible individuals under Article 7bis (personal sponsorship) to submit an application to modify their residency status electronically.

The Authority stated on its official account on the “X” platform that the application process involves accessing the “Sahel” app, selecting Individual Services, then choosing the Residency Status Modification Service (Article 7 – Personal Sponsorship), attaching the required documents, and submitting the application.
