'Food Authority': Vehicle distributing unknown and adulterated meat seized

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, seized a vehicle transporting and distributing meat of unknown origin and adulterated, which did not comply with health and technical standards and requirements.

The Authority stated in a press release that the seizure was part of regulatory efforts to protect the health and safety of consumers, resulting in the destruction of 249 kilograms of the seized meat and food products, and the taking of necessary legal action against the violator.
