O President of Iran... You lied and lied repeatedly
There is an Arabic proverb that says, “I hear your words and believe you; I see your actions and am astonished.” This applies to the Iranian regime, whose president addressed the United Nations General Assembly on the subject of terrorism, accusing many countries of practicing it. This situation perfectly illustrates the well-known Arabic saying, “She threw me with her ailment and then slipped away,” for a liar never speaks of honor.
President Pezeshkian has forgotten 47 years of Iranian terrorism spanning the globe, the formation of militia wings in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, and its support for the former Syrian regime in killing innocents who rose up for their freedom. Since February 28, he has been working to impose a global starvation policy by closing the Strait of Hormuz and pushing his proxy group in Yemen to close the Bab al-Mandab strait.
He has also forgotten the regime’s continuous aggression against Gulf states in all its forms, from 1980 to the present day. In the recent war, the regime revealed its ugly face by shelling civilian and oil facilities in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman, the latter of which was attempting to mediate between it and the United States to de-escalate tensions.

The example set by Masoud Pezeshkian at the United Nations is a model of the deception practiced in Iranian politics for decades. Indeed, when the “Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps” (IRGC) states in its daily bulletins that it supports the Houthi militia in its war against Saudi Arabia, its aggression against holy sites, and its disruption of supply chains in the Red Sea, it confirms its terrorist behavior and that of its proxies in the region.
At the outset of the war, the Iranian president apologized for the attacks suffered by Gulf states, yet on the same day, the IRGC shelled Kuwait and Bahrain. This confirms that decision-making does not lie with those who speak diplomatically, those in “sharp suits,” or the absent/present Supreme Leader who appears in written statements but not in public.
Thus, the decision-making power rests with a terrorist group located at the “Seal of the Prophets” headquarters, which controls the state as a whole. This undoubtedly explains the contradictions in the source of Iranian decisions. As we have said repeatedly, the true face of the regime is that of a power seeking hegemony over the region and aiming to change its cultural, social, and economic doctrines.
For nearly seven months, regime officials claimed they were striking US bases, while in reality, they were attacking civilian areas, power stations, water desalination plants, civilian airports in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE, as well as oil tankers. Yet, they continue to speak of good neighborliness, friendly relations, and joint cooperation between the countries on both shores of the Arabian Gulf!
However, the lie was exposed when the Iranian parliament speaker, during his visit to the Iraqi capital Baghdad, placed a map behind him featuring the label “Persian Gulf,” indirectly declaring, “We are the ones who decide the shape of the Gulf.” This Persian complex dates back to the fall of the Persian Empire in the Battle of Dhi Qar.
Any country ruled by ghosts becomes a haven for chaos, manifesting in multiple heads, as if it has become a collection of mini-states, each with its own stance and discourse. This means that if the region continues to provide oxygen to the regime through negotiations and mediation, it will remain plagued by terrorist gangs in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon, and by terrorist ghosts and a double language that speaks of peace while practicing terrorism.
Therefore, it is truly astonishing that a deceitful state, described worldwide for its evil deeds, should speak of honor from the podium of the United Nations.
