Foreign Minister and Director of the World Food Programme Discuss Enhancing Cooperation and Responding to Humanitarian Crises

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber received, on Saturday, the Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Carl Skau, at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the meeting reviewed the close relationship between Kuwait and the World Food Programme, as well as joint humanitarian efforts and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to support effective responses to regional and international humanitarian crises and challenges.
