'Fire Authority': Fire in an apartment in a building in Hawalli Square brought under control without injuries

The General Fireforce announced that fire crews from the Central Hawalli and Salamiya stations extinguished a fire that broke out in an apartment on the fifth floor of a building in the Hawalli Square area on Saturday afternoon.

The Fireforce stated in a press release that the crews evacuated the building’s residents, fought the blaze, and brought it under control, noting that the incident resulted in no significant injuries.

It added that the site was handed over to the relevant authorities.
