Interior Ministry warns of stray dogs and urges reporting their gathering locations

The Ministry of Interior has urged citizens and residents to exercise caution and vigilance when encountering stray dogs, advising against approaching or provoking them. It emphasized the need to monitor children and ensure the safety of the elderly, in order to prevent such dogs from gathering near residential areas and public facilities.

The ministry stressed the importance of reporting the locations where stray dogs are present or congregating by calling the emergency number (112), providing precise location details, to enable the necessary measures to be taken in coordination with relevant authorities and to handle the situation safely.

It called on everyone to cooperate and adhere to preventive guidelines, and to report any gatherings of stray dogs, thereby contributing to enhancing public safety and protecting lives.
