'Al-Azraq' concludes preparations for the Iraq clash at 'Gulf Cup 27'

The Kuwait national senior football team held its training session on Friday at the auxiliary pitch of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, in preparation for tomorrow’s Saturday match against Iraq, as part of the second round of Group A in the 27th edition of the Gulf Cup of Nations (Gulf Cup 27).

The training session was attended by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef, President of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Football Association; Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Sports and Youth and President of the Qatar Football Association; and Ayman Al-Husseini, Vice President of the Kuwait Football Association for Technical Affairs and Head of the Kuwait delegation.

Also present were Dr. Ahmad Ajib, a member of the Kuwait Football Association’s Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the Gulf Football Union; Nasser Al-Adwani, a member of the Kuwait FA’s Board of Directors; Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub, the General Secretary; former international player Saad Al-Houti; and media representatives.
